About

We build against bloat.

CV-GO-FAST is a project by RunTimeZero — because downloading a PDF should not feel like a hostage negotiation.

The problem

The modern web is broken. Simple tasks have been turned into predatory services. Want to build a CV? You are asked to create an account, verify your email, hand over personal data for analytics, and spend time inside a free trial only to find your document locked behind a paywall. This is exploitation, not innovation.

Our philosophy

We believe software should be a utility, not a trap. We do not measure success by monthly active users or retention rates. We measure success by how little of your time we take.

While other builders ship tracking scripts and framework bloat, CV-GO-FAST stays lean. No node_modules hell. No unnecessary complexity. It is light, it is fast, and it works exactly the same way it did years ago — and will still work years from now.

Data sovereignty

The SaaS industry treats user data like oil. We treat it like a liability. When you use CV-GO-FAST, nothing leaves your machine. We did not build a cloud database because we do not want your data. All PDF generation happens directly in your browser. If you do not download it, we never see it.

ATS: function over fashion

Most modern resume builders sell beautiful templates that corporate bots cannot read. They prioritize aesthetics over employability.

We architected CV-GO-FAST to produce high-fidelity text streams. Our layout is not just clean — it is a machine-readable blueprint. We remove the design traps that get resumes filtered so your document reaches a human recruiter.

Support the rebellion

CV-GO-FAST will always be free. If you want to support honest, fast software, you can buy us a coffee. It helps keep the servers running and the team building.

Good practices

Good practices for ATS CVs

A clean CV does not guarantee an interview, but it removes avoidable friction between your content and the recruiter.

Keep the structure simple

Use familiar section names like Experience, Education, and Skills. Simple labels are easier for ATS systems to parse and easier for humans to scan.

Write in plain text

Keep content direct, text-based, and easy to read. Avoid decorative layouts that can confuse parsing or make the document harder to scan quickly.

Surface the right keywords

Put the most relevant skills and achievements near the top. Match the language of the role naturally, without stuffing the page with keywords.

Stay readable on export

Use clean spacing, clear hierarchy, and a layout that stays stable in PDF form. The goal is to make the document feel effortless to review.

1. The anti-SaaS agreement

Most SaaS companies want to trap you in an ecosystem, harvest your email, and charge you a monthly fee for a simple utility. We do not. By using CV-GO-FAST, you agree to a simple philosophy: you use the tool, you get your PDF, and you leave. No accounts, no growth loops, no nonsense.

2. Data, or our lack thereof

Modern tech companies view user data as oil. We view it as a liability, a server cost, and a privacy nightmare. Therefore, we collect absolutely nothing.

  • We do not have a database to store your CV.
  • We do not track your keystrokes.
  • Your CV exists purely in your browser's RAM. If you close the tab, it is gone forever.

If you want your data saved, use a hard drive.

3. Acceptable use

We gave you a high-performance tool for free. In return, you must comply with basic human decency:

  • Do not use automated bots or scripts to spam the generator.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, deobfuscate, or scrape the rendering engine.
  • Do not clone the design or code to create a competing service.

Use the tool to get hired. Do not use it to test your hacking skills.

4. Intellectual property

The career history and words you put into the CV belong 100% to you.

The application itself — the brutalist design, the optimized engine, and the code — belongs to RunTimeZero. You are granted a temporary, revocable license to use the interface for its intended purpose.

5. The pricing model

There is no freemium tier. We will never hold your completed PDF hostage behind a pay-to-download button. If the tool proves useful to you, you can voluntarily support the project. If not, just take your CV and go. We prefer it that way.

6. No warranties

This software is provided as is. We built it to format cleanly for ATS systems, but corporate HR bots are notoriously broken. We guarantee our code is fast; we do not guarantee you will get the job. We are not liable for any lost opportunities, damaged files, or system bugs.

7. Changes to these terms

We might update these terms if needed. Since we do not have your email address to spam you with updates, it is on you to check this page if you care.
